4/9/07 Alton Towers

Phils Sister, Jane, bought Sam and Phil a family ticket to Alton Towers. We thought we would use this on the day before the kids go back to school. So off we trundled.

Two hours later we arrived at Alton Towers.

Time for a quick bite to eat before hitting the rides. Not too many people about so we didn't have to wait around long before it was out turn. I think the longest que was 30 minutes, so bad at all.

We rode on : the Dragon Rollercoaster, The Runaway Train, Congo River Rapids (good soaking had by all!), Duel, Hex, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Beth and I went on the Nutty Squirrel (Sam wouldn't do that ride "too babyish"!!!).
