09/09/07 Duxford Airshow

Sally B - B-17 Flying Fortress G-BEDF Sally B is the last remaining airworthy B-17 in the UK

Lancaster Bomber: Lovingly resotred and the only one left flying - from RAF Conningsby.

Here she is again with a Spitfire and a Hurricane. (Not sure if this is the Hurricane that was involved in a fatal accident at the Shoreham airshow on 15th Sept?).

We had an enjoyable day out at the Duxford Airshow. I love seeing and hearing the old planes, especially the Lancaster Bomber. Just hearing the roar of her engines as she fires all 4 up - it vibrates the ground - oooh spine shivering.
