Waddington International Airshow

Sam and Phil trundled off to the airshow this morning. Beth didn't want to go.

As they left the rain was steady, then the heavens opened and now, at 1.30pm, the sun has come out which I hope will stay out for the rest of the show.

As the weather has eased they are hoping to get the Typhoon up in the air. Also hoping to keep the wether dry for the Vulcan. The weather just held off for Falcons display team.

Beth and I did see the Red Arrows going over our house this morning - Sam and Phil were stuckin traffic at that time!

I hope the Battle of Britian Memorial Flight (Lancaster, Spitfire and the Hurricane) come over the house - I just love the sound of the Lancaster as its engines roar. There is also something quite eery about the Spitfire.

As I am typing this I have the Airshow Radio on.
