We loaded Sam and Phils bikes on the trailer and headed off to Tattershall Castle.
Had a little picnic and had a flying visit from a Spitfire and Hurricane.
We then climbed to the top of the tower and tried to locate Lincoln Cathedral in the distance which is only 17miles away as the crow flies.
Back down to the car and drove to Tattershall Bridge and off loaded the bikes. Sam and Phil were cycling home - about 30 miles.
Received a call just before 6 to say that they had stopped for a drink and would be home in 40 mins. 20 minutes later Phil phooned to say that Sam had a puncture! So trundled off to collecct Sam and bike.
Phil cycled the last 7 miles home flat out! We passed him half a mile before home and he was racing to keep up with some "proper" cyclists who had just passed him!
