I made up a solution of washing up liquid and warm water in my 2L cider bottle and went off in seach of critters. Didn't have to venture far as they were hanging about on my Stocks - happily munching away they were - until the heavens opened and they got a good dose of home made bug killer! Ooh they danced! Sam said it was like a caterpillar disco - ha, eat that you little theives.
Next stop - the veg patch. Not that there is much left of my brussels or purple sprouting but I gave them a good soaking too.
Since last night somebody has been making pretty lace doilies with my beetroot leaves - so they had a bath too.
